Cookie policy
Last updated
This page lists every cookie onegate.ro uses, what it does, who sets it and how long it lasts. Analytics cookies start only if you accept them.
In short
This summary helps you find your way. It does not replace the policy below, which is the one that applies.
- On the public pages, the only strictly necessary cookie remembers your choice in the cookie banner.
- In the partner account area (sign-in and back office) we also use strictly necessary cookies for the session and security.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) start only if you accept them.
- We do not use marketing, remarketing or social media cookies.
- You can change your choice at any time from the "Manage cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the public pages.
Strictly necessary cookies
Without them, the site and the partner account do not work properly. This is why they cannot be switched off in the banner.
Across the whole site:
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cc_cookie | Your choice in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you on every page. | 180 days |
Only in the partner account area (the sign-in page and the back office):
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | The session: keeps you signed in while you work in your account. | 24 hours |
| csrfToken | Form security: checks that a request comes from your account on our website and not from another site (protection against cross-site request forgery, or CSRF). | Until you close your browser |
| RememberMe | Keeps you signed in on this device. Set only if you tick "remember me" when signing in. | 30 days |
The public pages have no forms, so we set no session or form security cookies there. All strictly necessary cookies are ours (Digital Wap SRL).
Analytics cookies
We use them only if you accept them, and only on the public pages, to see which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. We do not use them to identify you or for advertising. We always tell Microsoft Clarity that you have not accepted storage for advertising purposes.
| Name | What it does | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells visitors apart with a random identifier. | Google (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
| _ga_CJ2FB1XL4H | Keeps the state of the current visit. | Google (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
| _clck | Tells visitors apart with a random identifier and keeps the Clarity settings for this site. | Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity) | 1 year |
| _clsk | Links the pages of a visit into a single recording. | Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity) | 1 day |
- Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity load only after your consent. Until then, no request goes to Google or Microsoft for statistics.
- We use Google Consent Mode v2: without your consent, Google receives no analytics signals. Advertising signals always stay denied, because we do not run ads.
- Microsoft Clarity records, only after your consent, how you use the pages: scrolling, taps, clicks, the screen and the device. From this we see recordings of visits and maps of the areas tapped, to find out what is hard to understand or use.
- For this data, Microsoft is an independent controller and also processes it under its own policy: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
- If you withdraw your consent, we ask Clarity to stop recording, delete the analytics cookies and reload the page.
- How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. You can block Google Analytics on every website with the official browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Other data stored in your browser
- If you choose the light or dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key theme), not in a cookie. It stays on your device, is never sent to us and contains no personal data.
- It is removed when you switch back to the system theme or clear the site data in your browser.
Your choice
- On your first visit, the cookie banner gives you three options, with buttons of equal weight: accept, reject or choose by category. Until you choose, analytics cookies do not start.
- You can change your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it, from the "Manage cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the public pages, or right here:
- If you reject analytics cookies, the site and the partner account work just the same.
Cookies in your browser settings
- You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings: in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, under "Privacy and security"; in Safari, under "Privacy".
- If you block all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, you can no longer sign in to the partner account. The public pages stay available, but the cookie banner will show up on every visit.
Changes to this policy
- We update this policy when we add, change or remove a cookie. The new version is published on this page with its update date.
- If we add a new category of cookies that needs your consent, the banner will ask for your choice again.
- How we process personal data: privacy policy. For questions: contact@onegate.ro.
